My journey as a MLM

I joined another MLM last August called LifeVantage.  I have attempted 2 others in the past, Amway and Melaleuca, and failed miserably at both.  A few people aren't interested and I quit.  When I was introduced to LifeVantage I told my husband I would try the product but no way was I going to do another MLM.  But then my daughter, Amy, said she wasn't going to either but then she started thinking about all the people it could help and she decided to join.  Well, that did it for me too because you see the flagship product is called Protandim.  It is a Nrf2 activator which reduces oxidative stress by 40% the first 30 days you are on it.  And there are over 200 diseases that are caused by oxidative stress such as diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimers, MS, arthritis, cancer, kidney disease and the list goes on and on.  I thought that anyone that suffered with these diseases would jump at the chance to use an all natural product that would alleviate their disorder, but much to my dismay it was not the case.  So here I am 11 months later and have 16 customers and no distributors.  I've gone over $5000 in debt because I want to cure everyone so give it to people for free just so they can feel better! Some saleswoman I am.
In LifeVantage they have a proven plan which consists of making 15 presentations a month, and going to every event.  No excuses!  Well I went to the Global convention in Salt Lake City, Utah in April and was all excited to really start building the business but after I returned home I signed up a couple more customers but then just lost my motivation, got busy with other things and couldn't even force myself to pick up the phone even to text.  So going to the Elite Academy this month I had decided this would be my last event unless I started getting serious with the business.  And then when I went to convention I got all excited about the products and the business and decided, "Yes, I can do this"  I'm not even sure exactly go me so excited.  It wasn't the John Maxwell training.  The probiotic science talk was exciting!  But I think being around all the team and the upline and I don't really know what flipped the switch, So I paid the registration fee for the next event in Orlando. So you know what that means...I need to do it!!!  I need to pick up the phone and do 15 meetings!  I can tell some of the excitement is already wearing off.  I want so much to have a team here so we can cheer each other on.  I was hoping to make more calls today but like always, life gets in the way.  So tomorrow is another day but I need to get moving!!  There's only 20 days left in the month.
