A quick good-bye

I know I have not blogged for a whole 4 days or so but I thought I would quickly let you know what I have been up to before I embark on my momentous bike-a-thon.
I didn't do much biking this week, took a couple 10 mile jounts around the dam to keep up my hill climbing skills and to get used to my new seat. The more I ride, the better I like it.
Yesterday was the start of the culture festival here and I was excited when I saw they were having Irish singers and dancers! We went last night and it was great! Mike Moloney and the Green Fields of America sang and played and they were terrific! I am sure that they have probably been on NPR on the Shamrock and Thistle. Niall O'Leary and Caitlin McNeill were the dancers. Unfortunately, Caitlin sprained her ankle on one of her dances so didn't dance the rest of the night.
So now we are off to Fort Stevenson State Park. Keep me in your prayers and hope for 70 degree weather with a light breeze and very little humidity. I know it's a lot to ask but one can always hope. :)
