Happy Autumn 2010

It seems odd to have the first day of autumn on the 23rd. It seems like it is always on the 21st or 22nd. In fact on one of my calendars it said that it was on the 22nd. It's been raining all day so far but very little wind and only 48 degrees. I am really hoping for an Indian Summer with some warmer weather and sunshine. The trees are definately turning fast. I just hope there are still some leaves on the trees when we go to the Black Hills next week-end. If had more energy right now I would get out all my fall decorations and start putting them up, but right now I just want to rest a bit after my applesauce making. One mess at a time.
