A Good Rain

Today we had our first "thunderstorm", if you can call it that. There was some thunder and lightning but most of all a really nice rain. We've had little bits of rain off and on all week but this will really get things started. The trees are all leafing out and the lawns are so green. My beautiful bunch of tulips on the west side of the house bloomed and I almost missed it. They are so pretty! I finished painting the living room, except for the ceiling. I decided that could wait. We moved the piano to the other side of the room and did some shuffling of the furniture and now I have to decide how much I want to put back up on the walls. After they are all painted I hate to put a bunch of nail holes in them. I may be downsizing and just putting pictures up and forget the little knick-knacks and shelves. I'll post some pictures when I get the redecorating done. I've started my six night stretch so probably won't be getting a lot done for the next week but I do have some things I have to get planned for Nurses Week at work and some baking to do next week. And then there's VBS that I must get going on!! I'm such a procrastinator :(
