Spring is springing

Spring has been a long time in coming.  Here it is the 13th of May and I finally noticed a faint green coming on some of the trees.  It's exciting to think that by the end of the week we may have the trees leafing out!  Other years my tulips would have been done blooming and instead they are just coming up.  My peony bush should be blooming by Memorial Day and the stems are only about 6 inches high, in fact they just pushed their noses out of the ground last week.  But we always welcome spring with open arms no matter how late it comes.  Believe it or not it's suppose to get up to 90 degrees today!  On Saturday the high was only in the 50's but that is North Dakota for you.  You gotta love it. ;)
