No sympathy here

I read an article in the Jamestown Sun yesterday about this family in Southern California who is struggling to makes ends meet because of the high price of gas and they may have to sell their minivan for a smaller car. He supposedly makes only $1400 a month but here they are pictured in their nicely furnished living room with a 54 inch TV. Now I haven't priced them out lately but isn't that like a months wages sitting in that living room. I think if I were being interviewed about not being able to make ends meet I would not be showing off my assets.
